Operating from a Head Office in Leeds and with operations across the globe our client has a turnover in excess of £500 million and businesses all over the globe.  Highly profitable in its market place and with a consistent record of both acquisitive and organic growth it is never inactive.  It is in the process of selecting and implementing a global ERP system which together with other projects and possible acquisition activity results in the need to appoint a technically gifted accountant in to its central reporting team.

As part of the Group Reporting team the successful candidate will play a part in Group Accounting, consolidations and financial and statutory reporting.  He/she will work as part of a small team and will be involved externally with liaison with auditors and other advisors.  He/she will be comfortable and proven in the utilisation of sophisticated reporting systems and ideally have experience of operating in a complex global business.  The individual to be appointed will have a record of working in a central reporting team and familiar with complexity.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, technically gifted with strong financial reporting skills and with a good knowledge of consolidation systems.  With a strong intellect and a desire to understand the detail, a knowledge of IFRS reporting and an understanding of international businesses.  As part of the team supporting the Group Financial Controller and his/her central team, the business has a high level of integrity and consistent success but, is down to earth, grounded and keen to be the best it can be.
