Our client is an Aim listed “ med tech “ business with a Head Office in West Yorkshire and operations in the US and Germany. With market leading technologies it is accelerating its commercialisation and is well placed to exploit its position in the market. We now seek to appoint a well rounded proven commercial Chief Executive Officer with a record of accelerating commercial growth, the ability to represent the company both internally and externally to shareholders. A demonstrable record of operating successfully in orthopaedics or wound management with an understanding of the US market would be helpful.
The Chief Executive Officer will through the team be tasked to grow the business, improve the EBITDA, build strong relationships both internally and externally and deliver the agreed strategy. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Chairman and NEDs the successful candidate will establish and develop strong relationships with shareholders and maintain regular dialogue. He/she will be analytically adept with previous P&L responsibility and the obvious qualities to inspire at all levels. Good attention to detail, comfort in a smaller and flexible environment this is an outstanding opportunity to enhance one’s career and create value for both the executive and shareholders. Previous experience of successful stakeholder management would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a charismatic leader who can clearly demonstrate an ability to build, develop, and motivate a team with responsibilities including setting the direction for the management as well as the whole organisation. The Chief Executive Officer will rapidly become acquainted with the group management style and gain a good understanding of the product range, markets and customer base. He/she will further develop and implement an ambitious growth strategy communicating it both internally and externally and take ownership of its outcome.
