With revenues in excess of £400 million, ambitious plans for future growth both in the UK and elsewhere it provides business solutions to a primarily “ blue -chip “ customer base. Retirement coupled with the need for succession creates the requirement to appoint a Chief Financial Officer.

It is taken as read that the individual appointed will be a first class finance professional with an ability to understand and thrive in the detail but also to contribute to pricing policy and strategy, contract negotiation and have the commercial and personal gravitas to impress at the highest level. He/she will represent the company externally and internally and be well versed and proven in successful shareholder management. Through an established finance team, the Chief Financial Officer will manage all internal and external reporting, will drive budgeting, forecasting, modelling and strategic planning and will provide both financial and commercial leadership.

The successful candidate will be proven in impacting on the financial and operational performance of a sizeable and complex business through a period of growth and transformation and will quickly build an understanding of the key drivers across the business in order to be able to contribute to the commercial agenda. Comfortable in a collegiate executive team and with a high work ethic and an ambitious nature the Chief Financial Officer will be at the heart of the business agenda and able to operate across all functions. He/she will be responsible for acquisition analysis and integration working closely with the executive and non executive board members, will be well organised and disciplined but able to spin a “ number of plates “ at the same time. The individual appointed will be both challenging and supportive, able to mentor and develop people and thrive in a down to earth, pragmatic and resilient environment with true Yorkshire values.
