With revenues close to £15 million and a record of consistent growth our client is well placed to continue to take market share and has become a real “ player “ in a competitive consumer marketplace. Supported by an ambitious and acquisitive group the business is about to undergo a significant investment programme to reconfigure the facility to improve operational efficiency and support NPD initiatives.

With strong and robust financial reporting the business now seeks to appoint a highly commercial and  operationally adept Finance Director to bring finance to the heart of the business agenda. Working closely across the executive and in particular the Operations Director the opportunity exists to get involved in all aspects of the business and play a pivotal role in the initiatives and projects central to the business whose ambition is to grow to revenues of £25 million. Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will take overall control of finance and information technology and be expected to contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business providing challenge and support across all areas of the business’s activities together with being responsible for the finance teams for both the UK and overseas sites .

The individual to be appointed will provide financial leadership to the business ensuring that action plans and KPIs are in place to drive and deliver the required financial performance. The Finance Director to be appointed will have an understanding of the importance of group reporting and will have a demonstrable record of contributing to the operational performance of a business and delivering business centric solutions to projects and matters material to optimising operational efficiency. A qualified accountant the successful candidate will be commercially astute technically strong , insightful and influential with excellent communication skills and strong IT competences. He/she will be energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success. Most importantly he/she will want to be part of a winning team.
