Our client is a successful healthcare business whose products and services are central to our being able to control and conquer the pandemic and provide us all with a better quality of life. The pace of its operational “scale up” to meet not only it’s demand for the present but most importantly the future, creates the need to appoint a seasoned interim to assist the Operations teams and deliver specific outcomes over the next six months.
The individual to be appointed will be collegiate by nature, proven in delivering successful outcomes and objectives in a “fast flow” customer centric consumer driven manufacturing environment. The interim Operations Director will be comfortable and thrive in a rapidly expanding business environment which needs educating and “commercialising” without losing the collaborative and closely knit team ethic that has been at the heart of its success to date. The workforce has grown to 150 and is likely to at least double in the next twelve months. “Hands-on” by nature and with obvious leadership qualities, this is an opportunity to be part of a business that seeks to achieve “best in class” processes in order to provide its customers and ultimately the public the best quality of service and product.
It would not be unhelpful to have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment with a unyielding passion for Quality and Health and Safety, but most important is the ability and desire to be involved in and understand the detail and work from the bottom up to deliver a robust operational infrastructure. The interim Operations Director will play a key role in shaping the integration of the Operational infrastructure whilst simultaneously will continually challenge and focus on continuous improvement across all areas of the business. He/she will be tasked to achieve and agree performance goals and lead best practice in a rapidly changing and evolving business environment.
