Job description: 

Our client is a rapidly growing entrepreneurially run niche financial services business with approximately 40 staff that operates from offices in Yorkshire and provides a broad range of services to an increasingly national and similarly broad range of clients. This continued growth creates the need to appoint a Chief Executive to provide leadership both strategically and operationally.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable record of developing a diverse range of services in a regulated environment and a record of developing teams who embrace the challenge of cross selling services and building strategic business development through a collegiate approach . A new role, this opportunity is to provide leadership across all aspects of the business and necessitates a “ hands -on “ approach to deliver budgets and plans together with contributing to and executing agreed strategic objectives. The Chief Executive to be appointed will recognise the real opportunities that exist to broaden and cross sell both the current product portfolio as well as developing future product propositions compliant with regulatory requirements.  A record of successfully working with intermediaries is an advantage.

Sectorial capability is not essential but naturally advantageous. The capabilities that are is a record of shaping and leading teams  providing wealth creation and wealth management services, and a proven record of contributing to the performance of a business both internally and externally in an environment utilising an information technology platform that is highly digital efficient. Equity is tangible in that “ carry “ is a part of the package on offer to the Chief Executive from his / her appointment. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in the future development of an already highly profitable and successful business to achieve its future plans and develop it’s strategy against a background of  meeting challenging customer expectations whilst always keeping them relevant.
