Job description: 

Skills for Logistics (SFL) are a well-established End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) who offer an End Point Assessment (EPA) service for a number of apprenticeship standards in the area of Logistics and Warehousing.   

The position requires someone who is confident and experienced in working with complex administrative processes as you will be playing a key role in delivering the EPA service. This includes dealing with initial enquiries, arranging and processing bookings and collating and communicating results, working closely with the Director of Operations and the rest of the team to deliver exemplary customer service in line with established procedures.

You will be in daily communication with training providers, learners, employers and assessors as you arrange and process EPA bookings.   You will regularly coordinate assessors’ schedules and venues to ensure maximise the effectiveness of all their resources. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers and all other stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally. Exceptional attention to detail with accuracy for recording information is very important.  You will have the ability to problem solve and identify key priorities. 

This is a customer-facing position and you will play an important role in representing SFL, therefore a friendly and professional demeanour is very important.    Although not essential, a working knowledge of End Point Assessment processes and an understanding of the apprenticeship journey and vocational qualifications, would be desirable, however, training will be given.

You will play a key role in working with colleagues to continually develop the processes, procedures and systems required to deliver the SFL EPA service

personal attributes:

Strong IT skills including experience of using Microsoft 365 Suite, Sharepoint, Excel and Databases.   Excellent organisational and diary management skills along with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
