Our client is a prestigious tourist destination, which has been undergoing a period of strategic change.
The CEO is now seeking to appoint a highly motivated Event Sales Manager who will help to formulate the sales strategy and implement sales processes and activities to increase both sales and market awareness. It is by necessity a broad role, working alongside all other aspects of the business and helping both internal and external stakeholders. The position will also work closely with the marketing team to generate new clients as well as leading, planning and co-ordinating events held on, what, is a very large site. In addition there will be weddings and other parties held on site.
Candidates should be professionals with significant experience of event planning. You must be meticulous in terms of details, strong in communication and at all times maintain a sense of humour. This is an incredibly broad role for someone who has the ambition to take event management at this location, to the next level.
