Job description:

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Bristol                                                                                                                   c. £100K

A new disrupter bank is being set up in Bristol to fill the gap created by the more traditional banking businesses.  It will be ethical, values-driven and will put, at the centre of its organisation, the customer.

A CFO is now required to work closely with the CEO as it continues at a pace to develop products, processes and to engage closely with the regulatory bodies.  This is a broad commercial role which will engage with all aspects of the business and will play a pivotal role in taking the business to launch and beyond.

Candidates must be qualified accountants with exposure to banking, building societies or consumer credit.  Ideally, they would have had some exposure to working either in start-ups or new initiatives, but more importantly is your appetite to work within banking in an ethical and customer-centric manner. Many brands talk about how they are going to evolve to become more customer-centric but this particular bank starts off as customer-centric.  For the right candidate this is an opportunity to make a real impact in the banking sector, and obviously the salary and benefits package will be increased post authorisation.

If interested please apply quoting ref. no. 3578/INT to Tony Hodgins, Wheale Thomas Hodgins plc, Search & Selection Solutions, 13 Berkeley Square, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1HB.  Or email caroline@wth.co.uk
