The key task of Director of Sales is to work with the Board to implement and deliver the strategic sales plan helping Thatchers to deliver both its short-term forecasts and its long-term ambitions. It is also critical that you provide leadership and management to the business development teams enabling them to achieve their potential, instilling in them the right values and behaviours not only to succeed commercially but to champion best practice and team inclusivity. Additionally, this role must work closely with all Board members and create a strong relationship both cross functionally and at all levels of management.
Candidates will be authentic and credible sales professionals with commercial and strategic awareness of how to build premium brands and experience of working in the Off-Trade. You will have a well-developed network and will have the personal and communication skills to work across the trade with a discerning client base in a competitive marketplace. It is also imperative that you are innovative, proactive with a strong moral compass who is both a team leader and a team player.
