This visitor and hospitality focused business has a large property and land portfolio and runs its own large-scale events and hosts a number of third party events.
The organisation is now looking to recruit an experienced business aware estates/property manager. This position is both commercial and tactical. Commercially you will review all existing supplier contracts and ensure that all new contracts are with the appropriate supplier and at the right price. Tactically you must be a “hands on” manager to ensure that events are successfully delivered, and properties are maintained to the highest level and are appropriately utilised. There is also a small team to manage and develop and outside contractors to manage. In addition, this role will have significant interface with other departments especially finance.
Candidates should be experienced property/ estate managers who would relish the opportunity to make a substantial difference to a business. You also must have the ability to communicate and influence effectively at Board level plus have the managerial skills to lead and develop the team/s reporting to you.
